If so, maybe asphalt shingles just aren’t right for your home. Keep in mind that roof installation depends on proper pipe flashing installation. If that’s done poorly, it will affect how your roof comes out. Watch out for overhang as well. You don’t want the shingles to go more than an inch and a half over the roof’s edge. It won’t look right and it will be structurally unsound. Finally, you want to avoid laying the shingles in a racking pattern. This method doesn’t work with architectural-style shingles. It might look fine at first, but you will regret it years down the line. Continue watching to learn more about roof repairs and how to avoid mistakes.
